What does it take for women to make it to the top of a new organization and what happens to them when they get there? A new book,  “There’s No Crying in Newsrooms: What Women Have Learned about What It Takes to Lead,” tells the stories of women who have led news organizations over the past 40 years and offers advice for today’s young women (and men) who aspire to be leaders. Co-authors Kristin Grady Gilger and Julia Wallace talk with two women featured in the book: Melissa Bell, publisher of Vox, and Rashida Jones, senior vice president of specials, NBC News and MSNBC.
